About Ocala Septic Pros

What this site is, how it works, and how we keep the information on it honest.

Free, no-obligation estimate from a local septic contractor.

We’re a referral service, not a septic company

Ocala Septic Pros helps homeowners in Ocala and Marion County get in touch with a local septic contractor. We don’t own trucks, pump tanks or install systems. When you send a request through this site, we pass your details to an independent septic company that serves your area. That company gives you the estimate and does the work, and any agreement is between you and them.

How we choose who gets your request

We send requests to a contractor working in the Ocala area. Before you hire anyone, including the company we refer you to, ask whether they’re registered with Florida DEP as a septic tank contractor, whether they carry liability insurance, and whether the price includes any permit your job needs.

About the information on this site

Septic rules in Marion County are more complicated than in most places because of the Silver Springs and Rainbow Springs protection plan. We’ve tried to explain them plainly and link to the government source for every rule we mention: Florida DEP, Florida Statutes, Marion County, EPA and UF/IFAS. Cost figures come from published price data, and we say where they’re from and how local they are.

We’re not engineers, lawyers or a government agency, and rules change. If something on this site is out of date or wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it.

Is it free?

Yes, for homeowners. You never pay us anything. Septic companies may pay us for referrals, which is how the site is funded. That doesn’t change what you pay the contractor.
